⭐ 1-Star Review. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Mr. J. Stephen Mixon and his law firm. Based on my personal experience, I believe Mr. Mixon was extremely dishonest and misleading in his communications with me. I feel that I was given information and assurances that did not match what ultimately happened, and I consider that deeply unprofessional.I retained this firm expecting honest communication, professional representation, and someone who would protect my legal interests and keep me informed about important deadlines. Instead, after investing significant time and trust in this firm, I received a letter terminating the representation effective immediately. Even more concerning, that same letter raised a potentially serious deadline issue involving one of my EEOC matters.I feel that my time was wasted, and I am extremely disappointed with how my matters were handled. When someone hires an attorney, they are placing an enormous amount of trust in that person. I trusted Mr. Mixon and his firm to handle my employment matters professionally and to protect my rights.In my personal opinion, Mr. Mixon’s conduct and communication throughout my experience were among the most dishonest and unprofessional experiences I have encountered in dealing with the legal profession.I am an honest and trustworthy person, and I believe clients deserve honesty, transparency, respect, communication, and accountability from their attorneys.I would **never recommend Mr. Mixon or this law firm to anyone based on my experience.** I strongly encourage anyone considering this firm to do their own research and ask very detailed questions about communication, deadlines, representation, and what will happen if the attorney decides to withdraw.This review reflects my personal experience and opinions regarding the representation I received.
