Why should you think about renting instead of buying?

It was a phone call that she had received before, you know the one where they wanted a favor from you. Her husband was a real estate agent and being the sort of social butterfly that she was, Melissa would always bring up that fact when she was communicating with others. It is not that there were not other Realtors around when these people were looking to find a home for sale, but Tony was a Realtor who was in the habit of providing results for his clients and that made him extremely valuable.
The average person would prefer to avoid moving if they could, unless they intend to move into their first home. This is the time when they can actually tell the rest of the world that they own a piece of property. The cost of living is tough enough without having to add the price of relocating to it, yet it will be necessary if relocation is in the cards. Just think about that conversation you had with your boss, where he promised you all sorts of benefits, providing you would be willing to pull up stakes and head across town to fill that spot he needed.
Because of the fact that there are so many available rentals on the market, before you decide to invest in your own property, it probably would not be a bad idea to look into a home for rent. When you are thinking about setting up shop in another town, you are never quite certain if things will work out the way you want it to. There is no sense in looking at houses for sale if you end up having to move again in 6 months, after all, you may turn out to dislike the area all together, then you will have to contact someone like Tony to help you sell your property after you just bought it.
