Have you ever stopped to watch an artist at work and wondered if you can draw and paint. Well you can if the desire to do so is strong, all you need is someone to guide you.
You will need to learn how to look at things with an artists eye. You will be amazed to see what you are missing. Most people walk around with their iner eyes closed. They do not stop to smell the rose's, to put it that way. There is so much happening in the world that the general public are unaware of.
Look at flowers for instence, when you stop and really look you will see how delicate the petales are. The color of the flower is not uniform but full off hues of the same color. Even tints of other colors blending in giving the flower its uniqueness. Looking closer you will see how the sun light plays with the color of the petals, and you will see shadows as well.
A tree is not just all green and brown. On close inspection you will find different shade of color, some leaves can have brown in them or a tint of yellow. Even blue and orange can be found in the leaves.
Now it is not only color but texture, you will learn how to depict different types of texture onto canvas or paper. From the grains of sand to brick walls. Bark of trees and the look of silk.
