Polyurethane coating

Polyurea Definition Polyurea is a coatings, lining and joint sealant technology. It is being used successfully for any different applications today. Polyurethane coating and linings are more commonly applied over concrete and steel for corrosion protection and abrasion resistance. They also have tremendous advantages over conventional materials for joint fill and caulk applications due to their fast set nature, high elongation and durability/abrasion characteristics. Polyurea can be molded and shaped by spraying it into molds. Similarly, polyurea is also used as hard coat protective shell over expanded polystyrene (EPS) for architectural molded fascia applications. The markets and applications are endless and on the rise. A polyurea coatings / elastomer is that derived from the reaction product of an isocyanate component and a resin blend component. The isocyanate can be aromatic or aliphatic in nature. It can be monomer, polymer, or any variant reaction of isocyanates, quasi-prepolymer or a prepolymer. The prepolymer, or quasi-prepolymer, can be made of an amine-terminated polymer resin, or a hydroxyl-terminated polymer resin.

OILFIELD SERVICES Ultimate Linings industrial coatings are specifically engineered to create an impenetrable barrier between your valuable equipment and nature?s harshest elements, such as exposure to high humidity, salt water, or extreme temperature changes. Ultimate Linings Protective coatings can stand up to the punishing conditions of Oilfield applications, doing duty on vessel decks, walkways and in cargo. Ultimate Linings spray-on elastomeric coatings also extend the useful life of machinery and plant equipment, especially on mobile apparatus.

Construction Ultimate Linings sprayed-on polyurea ,elastomeric polyurethane, and hybrid solutions are 100% solids, VOC free and designed for reducing maintenance costs and maximize equipment return on investment. Ultimate Linings Industrial coatings can be sprayed or cast onto virtually any type of equipment, irrespective of penetrations or shape, whether new or already in-service. Typical industrial construction applications include: Floors, Heavy Equipment, Mining, Material Handling.

Blast Resistant Coatings Ultimate Linings Coatings carried out various blast tests, each involving different explosive weights and distances to which there were no structural damage. Tests were carried out on four walls and two barricades which were constructed of Millennium Blok and tested against explosives to determining their survivability and suitability for Forces Protection Construction Material. In all cases the test was designed to exceed the requirements listed in the Standards For Force Protection.

Ultimate Linings Polyurea Benefits No VOC’s and Little to No Odor Some Systems are USDA and Potable Approved Weather Tolerant: Cures at -25ºF to >300ºF even in High Humidity Excellent Resistance to Thermal Shock Flexible: Bridges Cracks Waterproof, Seamless and Resilient Unlimited Mil Thickness in One Application Spray, Hand Mix and Caulk Grade Materials Excellent Bond Strengths to Properly Prepared Substrates Resistant to Various Solvents, Caustics and Mild Acids Low Permeability, Excellent Sustainability
