No Impact Project: 7 Days Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

This project s the result of a year during which Collin Beavan, a writer from New York, decided to live reducing his carbon footprint on the planet. The experiment was gathered in the No Impact Man blog. Currently, the project has evolved to such extense that it has turned into an event where anyone can participate, experience and share. During this week, the No Impact Project invites people from all over the world to get involved in the No Impact Week: a one-week carbon cleanse in order to have a positive impact on your life, your community and our planet.  It’s not about giving up creature comforts but an opportunity for you to test whether the modern “conveniences” you take for granted are actually making you happier or just eating away at your time and money. Some of the proposed advices are really efective. You can easily register here so that you can join the experiment, or you can just follow on your own some of the advices provided.
