Ingenious Uses of White Vinegar

Vinegar is a wonderful product which was created about 10,000 years ago. It can be used for numerous purposes, one of which is cleaning. Cleaning with vinegar and other natural products has become very popular in the recent years. The thing is, though, that the sour liquid can also be used in other occasions.

Here are some ingenious uses of white vinegar, offered by a professional cleaner London:

  • When you are chopping onions, your hands and the chopping-board absorb its smell, which is quite unpleasant to be honest. To remove the onion odour from your hands, wash them with some vinegar. Rub some of the sour liquid in the chopping-board, as well, and it will be like new again.
  • When you are boiling eggs, put two tablespoons of vinegar into the water to avoid the whites leaking, if any of the shells crack.
  • If you have fruit flies at home, put a tablespoon of vinegar and pieces of a smashed fruit in a dish or small bowl. Cover it with plastic wrap with a few holes in it. The flies crawl under the wrap but can't get out afterwards.
  • If the armpits of your shirts are stained from a deodorant, do not worry, because you can easily clean them. Just spray some vinegar on the stains before you put them in the washing machine.
  • If you want to bring back the bright colours of your clothes you can add a cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle of your washing machine. It acts, not only as a colour freshener, but as a fabric softener, mildew-inhibitor and static reducer.
  • If you want to get rid of the weeds in your garden, just spray them with some vinegar and they will be gone.
  • A tablespoon of sugar and two tablespoons of vinegar added to the water in a vase can prolong the life of cut flowers.

Pretty simple tips, aren't they? But they do a wonderful job. I assure you, that you won't regret it if you choose to use any of them. If you're suspicious about these tips, though, you can make a consultation with some professional cleaner London.

And remember to always check if a natural product is appropriate for a certain cleaning purpose before you use it.
