How To Clean Your New Air Jordan`s?

You just bought a pair of those new Jordan`s you`ve always wanted? Well, if you want to get the best of your investment you should clean them frequently. Michael Jordan never had that problem dough, he just got a new pair every time he wanted, but your situation is different. If you want your Air Jordan shoes to stay looking sharp, it is important to perform a thorough cleaning job at least once a month.

The first tip given by most of the professional cleaners in Melbourne, is to forget about washing the shoes in the laundry machine. Sure, that must have worked out pretty great with your old sneakers, but the Jordan`s can loose their shape or even worse – they can wear out more quickly, and for sure you will not like that. Clean the shoes by hand, using a liquid laundry detergent, some baking soda, a toothbrush and of course – water.

Fill ½ of a medium mixing bowl with water and add two or three drops of the laundry detergent   chosen for the cleaning job. Dip the toothbrush in the bowl and start scrubbing the shoe with it. Don`t forget to frequently dampen the brush in the bowl. After washing the shoe on the outside, do the same procedure for the inside of it. Rinse the detergent, by putting the shoe under running water.

When you perform the same procedure with your other shoe, sprinkle baking soda in both of them and let it sit until the shoes had dried. Afterwards shake the soda out. Use a soft-bristled brush to make sure that all of the soda had fallen out. Baking soda is great for preventing nasty odours and it sure does a great job doing that.

The Air Jordan`s are a beautiful and really comfortable pair of basketball shoes. They just deserve to look great at all times, and keeping them clean is the way to achieve that. Pro basketball players and cleaners in Melbourne say that wearing a filthy pair of Jordan`s is just a disgrace of the name of the greatest basketball player ever.
