Last night was Jiu Jitsu night. It was a great full body workout. Its gets pretty brutal when you have a heavy cotton uniform on and training with temperatures at 80+ humid heat. It really helps to stay light for running. It also balances my whole body’s fitness out so I am not just running or biking. I can already see a tremendous difference in my change in diet, ie: eating more fruits, vegetables and taking multivitamins and protein. This morning’s 4 mile run seemed like a breeze, even after last night’s tough Jiu Jitsu training. The plan for today’s nutrition: Protein shake and Greek yogurt for breakfast. Apple, Banana, and Blueberries for snacks. Organic PBJ sandwich for lunch. And maybe a smoothie with whatever I am having for dinner. Sounds like excellent fuel for a productive day!
