I am a cooking class instructor, cookbook author, and complete foodie. As a child growing up in a house where cooking held center stage, I was always right in there ready to help. In high school my best friend and I even threw dinner parties for our teenaged friends!
My professional cooking career began in San Francisco with my wedding cake business, which I owned/operated until the birth of our first daughter. Realizing I wanted time off to be a mom, I did just that…soon daughter number two came along and I enjoyed time as a stay at home mom.
After a few years, I began thinking about how I could balance motherhood with cooking professionally. In 2003 I opened a cooking class business, which has given me the opportunity to fulfill my creative outlet while being able to be at home with our daughters.
