I am a self employed free lance fine artist, marine biologist and naturalist.

 I create metal sculptures by TIG welding stainless steel using various types of machines like plasma cutters, grinders and polishers.

 Some of the original artworks are cast into bronze using the 'lost wax' or hot casting techniques.

 I also enjoy the wilderness and spend as much free time photographing landscapes and animals. These are sometimes used as reference points for my sculptures or simply as ideas for painting.

 I am currently working in the marine biology field mostly in the southern ocean region of Antarctica.
