My main interests are Karate and Tai Chi, though I do take an interest in other martial arts too.  I also enjoy writing and sharing my ideas.  I have a particular interest in "bunkai" (analysis of kata/pattern/forms) to find realistic applications rather than the stylised methods which rely on a co-operative partner which most of us have been taught.  I strive to empower people to be able to work out applications for themselves.
