"Why Are You Reading This?" Is a collection of essays written by Davison Cheney after he yells at his kids for not doing their chores, but before he reads in bed for two hours because his wife can’t sleep with him running around. He should have been a star long ago, but being bi-polar has not worked for him like it has for others in the entertainment industry. He has written a few famous plays that no one has ever heard of and is still working on "Moralice" - his first book. He had been called a creative conjugationer, and he cannot spell. His heroes are Neil Simon, Lucille Ball, Danny Kaye and Softball - for getting his kids out of the house. Davison Cheney hopes to do well enough as a writer to get his teeth fixed and buy an air conditioner. He loves his wife, but is so immature that sometimes he still just punches her on the shoulder. This is in no way a confession of guilt.
