Despite (or perhaps due to) my full time job as a practicing clinical hospitalist at an academic institution, I write and produce a popular medical satire blog at www.ZDoggMD.com. The primary aim is to use humor, something generally scarce in the medical profession, to promote education and awareness for patients and practitioners alike. I hope to capitalize on the unprecedented ability of social networking to interactively engage the broadest possible audience in an ongoing, personally relevant discourse.
