I lived as an only child with a mentally disturbed, abusive mother for seventeen years.  As an adult, I have suffered from PTSD, anxiety, and depression.  I've sought the counsel of psychiatrists and therapists with limited success.  I also read about developments in positive psychology and self improvement in order to find techniques that will help manage my problem.  I'm also a major Geek.
