Ceasar demonstrates his newest weapon of mass destruction. Someone just passed major gas. Summary: Smiley eats the giant candy and turns into an expanding plume of gas. An apple on the abandoned sled of Ceasar's minions turn up into a strange pattern. Ceasar's minions try to outrun the gas but they are caught and petrified. Sanji's group are barely staying ahead of the gas plume, and they see the escaped dragon ahead of them and they plan to catch the dragon to fly out of harm's way. Back in the lab, Ceasar declares the gas to be his greatest invention ever, and states that anyone outside of the lab will become victim of the gas which will include all of the Marines outside and Luffy and the captives. Chopper is hiding some equipment and wonders what to do, but he gets hit in the head by a piece of paper which tells him not to do anything. Luffy, Law and the rest of the captives are lowered out of the lab in their cage. Once outside, Law tells the others that it's time to counterattack. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So Ceasar's new weapon of mass destruction is gas that basically petrifies people. I guess his old poisonous gas wasn't poisonous enough to instantly doom people, so this is the new and improved version. The Straw Hats, Law and the Marines are still in a bind, but despite being stuck in a cage with sea stone cuffs, Law seems to have a plan to counterattack. Probably Law or possibly a hidden ally threw that piece of paper telling Chopper not to do anything. Let's how the Straw Hats will get out this situation. It was an interesting bit with the apple when Smiley ate the giant candy and turned into gas. An interesting theory I've heard is that since Smiley was essentially destroyed, the apple transformed into the salamander Devil Fruit that Smiley ate. Whatever the apple turns out to be, there has to be a reason for the manga to pay special attention to it and so we'll likely see the apple playing a part in the story.
