The G5, Straw Hats and Ceasar Clown have discussions and plot their next moves. Smoker not scowling... it looks so strange. Summary: At the back of the research lab, the Straw Hats listen to Brownbeard tell his story. Brownbeard paints their master Ceasar Clown as a kind savior who researches for the good of the world. Brownbeard also thanks Law for giving him the crocodile legs since he has lost his legs in a battle against Basil Hawkins. Meanwhile, out in front of the laboratory, Smoker paints a completely different picture of Ceasar, portraying him as a mad scientist who researched in poisonous gases and he was the one primarily responsible for Punk Hazard being quarantined. Ceasar was arrested for the incident, but he escaped a prison ship and never surfaced again. Smoker rand Tashigi also note the recent spree of child kidnapping at sea and Smoker thinks that someone in the Marines is covering for Ceasar. Smoker plans to get his heart and switch back to his own body, and he plans to stop Ceasar before Ceasar creates another disaster. Inside the lab, Law has left and Ceasar gets off the phone with someone and states that he has permission to kill the G5 Marines and Straw Hats. Caesar then tells his men to capture whoever they can and gas the others. An injured centaur walks in to ask for help, but instead Ceasar puts the centaur in a gas chamber to experiment upon. The centaur does not get a good end, and Ceasar starts ranting about how nobody sees his brilliance and what an awesome scientist he is. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ An information chapter this week. Brownbeard and Smoker paint two different portraits of the gas master Ceasar Clown, but of course Smoker's depiction is probably much more accurate. Ceasar definitely seems to fit in the mad scientist archetype. His gaseous appearance is due to a Devil Fruit power, and it's probably a Logia type. Logia can be dealt with strong haki, but they are still a bit more difficult than other Devil Fruit types. Ceasar's new experiments at Punk Hazard seem to have the backings of someone high up in the Marines/Government and that may be why Law is around as well. We'll just have to see what Ceasar is planning with his return to Punk Hazard, and what he is trying to do with all the kids that his men have kidnapped. On another note, Smoker and Tashigi switching bodies is pretty amusing too, especially how Smoker's face now has a non-scowling expression. Smoker's face just looks so different now that Tashigi is in his body. From the feed of A Product of Wasted Time
