With the recent released gaming epic Mass Effect 3, EA made a tons of headlines over the Internet. We thought this will at least keep people buzzing about EA for a few week but EA once again jumped off with its announcement about Crysis 3. The next Sci-fi shooting edition is set in New Yorkish Urban Forest arena and is expected to release this spring.
The Crysis 2 follow-up, set in 2047, sees returning character Prophet discover New York sealed inside a dome by the nefarious Cell Corporation. Under New York's Liberty Dome, the city has become an "urban rainforest teeming with overgrown trees, dense swamplands and raging rivers," according to EA, and is split into seven distinct and treacherous environments known as the Seven Wonders.
The game will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC platforms with the previous title 'Crysis' by Crytek's proprietary engine, CryEngine. Crysis 3 Hunter Edition can be pre-ordered now for $60 or £40 which includes a bonus XP boost up to level five, a unique bow skin, and three exclusive dog tags. Depending on the retailer, you may also get few early multiplayer unlocks for this game.
