Luffy tries to capture Ceasar. He smells really... gassy. Summary: Near the lake, Sanji and company can see the that the slime monster is poisoning the lake. Sanji (in Nami's body) dives in to find the samurai's torso, while Brook and Zoro have to deal with some of the slime drops that the slime monster had launched to their side of the lake. Meanwhile, in the lab Law finds Monet alone in the main room. Law tells Monet to come with him and he leaves Chopper (in a bag) in the room. Outside, Luffy is able to grab hold of Ceasar using haki, but haki doesn't stop Ceasar from using his Logia powers. Ceasar sends some poison gas at Luffy and Luffy actually inhales the gas. However, the gas has little effect as Luffy has dealt with Magellan's poison, and Luffy kicks Ceasar into the ground. Ceasar is not down though and ignites the gas that Luffy had inhaled to blow Luffy up. While Luffy is stunned in the air, Ceasar has some of the slime wrap around Luffy and then he ignites the slime for an even larger explosion. Ceasar thinks he has blown Luffy up, but Luffy somehow escaped and appears behind Ceasar. Luffy hits Ceasar with a hard kick that seems to knock Ceasar out, but suddenly Luffy starts gagging and falls unconscious and Ceasar rises again. Law and Monet walk to a bridge where Law suddenly falls to the ground in pain. A man then walks out of the tunnel in front of Law, and Law recognizes the man and wonders why the man is here. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Capturing a notorious mad scientist who can turn himself to gas and have use of various chemical weapons is not easy even for a haki-powered Luffy. It seems Luffy did underestimate Ceasar's resilience, and I am guessing Luffy was knocked out because he inhaled Ceasar's gas. The gas didn't have an immediate effect on Luffy, but it doesn't mean Luffy wasn't poisoned. If Luffy has really been defeated, then there is no one nearby who can capture Ceasar. Neither Franky nor Robin are good with haki, and Smoker is not in his own body. We'll just have to see if Luffy can recover. Meanwhile, Law is running some trouble as well, as someone from his past shows up unexpectedly and it has a painful effect on Law. Looks like Punk Hazard is great place for people to show up unexpectedly. Too bad One Piece on break again though. From the feed of A Product of Wasted Time
