I don’t have an exciting or overly interesting life but still, I cannot help but blog about the things that delight me no matter how petty or small they seem for other people. I believe that the little stuff matter and those are the building blocks for lasting happiness. So as much as possible, I learn to be more appreciative with everything I’m blessed with. 1. Great commutes. Kin and I don’t own a car so we usually just commute to go to our food escapades and other random stuff we think of. It’s hot outside, bad air pollution dirtifies us, and we sweat a lot. But in spite of getting tired from riding the MRT, hailing a pedicab, calling for a taxi.. We still have fun because we’re together. I know I’m always safe and protected. 2. Swiss Miss FAT FREE Sensible Sweets Don’t get me wrong, I’m not fooled with that FAT FREE proclamation in front of the box. I read the nutrition box on the side and it has 50 calories per serving (it has 8 servings per pack). I had this and I just fell in love. It is so delicious. You can dilute the chocolatey taste with warm water if you don’t like the thick hot choco it starts to become when a bit of water is added. This is great for breakfast. Trust me. :) 3. Birthdays! My office mates are a sweet bunch. We celebrate whenever one of us has a birthday coming up. Don, Kim, Dhacks, and RA are the happy celebrants! :) My favorite is the chocolate cake from Red Ribbon! 4. Ganso Shabuway Look at how Kin looks at his spicy miso broth at Ganso Shabuway. We ordered a large Pork Kurobuta shabu shabu set and added a few veggie plates and noodles. As usual, Ganso did not disappoint. As I am very particular with a pleasant staff, I can honestly say that I enjoyed my experience in this resto every time because I do not get annoyed by talkative, inattentive staff. Caffe Ti Amo’s Grande Waffle Gelato with Coffee Americano This is the perfect dessert to end your night together with a special someone. It’s best to not eat a filling dinner. The waffle is a bit thick and heavy on the tummy. It’s only Php 400++ all in all. :)
