Thanks Karen!! xxooKSteve and Karen HunterFrom Karen....'What's Going On' was actually started before Steve did the Alice Cooper tour in 2011 but it had to go on hold for seven months.Steve spent quite a while trying out approaches for the arrangement and at first he did not think it was going to work, then one day he decided to slow it down and it took on a slightly melancholic vibe which he felt fitted the content of the lyrics.Fast forward to 2012, now back at home in Tennessee he decided to release it mainly to get some feedback from fans after spending so long on a tour playing with Alice doing classic rock, he wanted to see how people would respond to him producing what is essentially his first love, a more blues oriented album.The response was very favorable ( I agree!) which has encouraged Steve. He finished a new original track recently (which has a very cool guest playing on it) and now he is working on a fresh arrangement of a very famous track he played on in the past, but that will have to remain a mystery until the release as my lips are sealed (:CHECK OUT STEVE HUNTER'S NEWLY REVAMPED WEBSITE IT'S AWESOME!Not sure you have seen this either Kim.....Recently we did an old Les Paul/Mary Ford song called 'Just One More Chance' together, I got a little more artsy with the video, took some cool pics of a gorgeous archtop Gretsch guitar Steve has here and a new microphone.Karen Hunter...Karen and Steve's tribute to Les Paul and Mary Ford. Recorded in their studio in Nashville, produced, arranged and played by Steve, sung by Karen. Written by Sam Coslow and Arthur Johnston.
