This is just a phone shot of a lovely stack of fabrics I was getting ready for the wash ^_^ and of course they get updated to Flickr and tumblr before they manage to get to this blog! But I do get there in the end and yes the fabrics were listed in the etsy shop. A vintage fabric peg bag holder. I don't use a washing line because our line is in the middle of terraced houses where there is no wind or sun ever so it's pointless! I plan to use this for storing fabric scraps while I'm sewing. This image is for pillowcase making and trimming! I couldn't decide between blue or green... I thought green but I appear to have been outvoted on instagram! Speaking of which.. When I heard instagram had been bought by Facebook I was disgusted. I never agree to Facebook knowing my whereabouts, I don't have the app downloaded because in the terms and conditions you are agreeing to them being able to read your emails and text messages... No thank you. As useful as Facebook is for business I am loathed to use it as I don't like the fact they sell my personal data. I would rather be in control of the information i share y'kno? So! I discovered Streamzoo. A free app... With all the same editing options as instagram only like a million more. You can crop, you can post full size pics, you can edit brightness, contrast, hue, saturation and of course adding borders and even more tilt shift/blurring options than its counterpart ig. You can add titles and descriptions for posting to Flickr and such this is a great idea. You can follow #tags so that when a new tagged item is posted it appears in your stream instead of just those images of users you follow. The tags are attributed to little reward badges you can achieve and you earn points.. Which I'm not sure about quite yet and I don't think I like that you just need to like loads of photos which you may not even actually 'like' in order to earn points and rewards et all but I know one thing for sure... MORE CRAFTY FOLKS NEED THIS APP! So i have things to look at that aren't wee girls selfing in the mirror. True story.
