Raised in Atlanta, Miles Redd moved to New York to study film at New York University. More interested in set design, he began working for antiques dealer John Rosselli after graduation, which would serve as a hands-on education in furniture and the decorative arts. Later hired by decorator Bunny Williams, Redd honed his eye as a shopper and design assistant, combing the 26th Street flea market and frequenting the great antiquarians for beautiful finds.
