Bring your menorahs and candles to join in a special Chanukah celebration (option,com_events/task,view_detail/agid,920/year,2011/month,12/day,23/Itemid,148/) at Temple Beth Torah on Friday, December 23, the first night of Chanukah. The celebration begins at 7:00 PM. Dan Gordon, the rabbi will lead a special Shabbat service that will include the telling of the Chanukah story. The prayers for the first night of Chanukah will be recited, followed by a community lighting of menorahs. It is a breath-taking site to see so many menorahs with candles aglow.
