This will be one of a series of my summer vacation posts. I really have no clue on how to present the photos nicely or creatively. I’ll just be doing it by what I think should go together in one post. My family and I spent four days in the awesome island of Boracay and we just want to try out different restos there. We chose Don Vito Ristorante Italiano for dinner on our second day. :) The place has an authentic Italian vibe and is great for quiet get togethers. You can choose whether to eat outside by the beach or inside their air conditioned room. You can watch them make their yummy food just outside. Look at those yummy cheeses and breads! Not to mention the scrumptious desserts you can choose from. Everything is so clean and sanitary. I’m usually a bit hesitant when eating out on other places because I have a fixation on cleanliness. Ristorante Italiano satisfied that. :) The details of their resto are very well thought of. Look at that array of wines on display! It’s the first time for me to see a milder Tabasco pepper sauce. It has more of a tangy taste rather than spice. It’s great on pastas. I still prefer the hotter version but the green one is a nice surprise. Filet Mignon. A piece of beef wrapped in bacon, served with mashed potatoes and their special sauce. This is filling and tasty—best for the hungry men out there. Penne Verdure. Penne pasta with green and red bell peppers, mushrooms, and slices of chicken. Served with bread. I normally add Tabasco to my pasta to give it more kick. This one needs only a little heat since it’s already naturally spicy. All-Meat Pizza. This tastes like the regular high protein pizza in Shakey’s (Check out my post about that here!) but less chewy. The meat is a bit spicy but because of the cheese, the heat gets milder. You can just taste the freshness in the ingredients they used. Newly cooked and warm, so yummy for a cold breezy evening. Don Vito Ristorante Italiano is indeed one of the best restaurants I’ve dined in. Their service is impeccable. You don’t have to wave your arms for minutes just to get the attention of their staff, even if there are a lot of customers to be served. Their food is delicious and they serve it really fast—below ten minutes! :) Happy eating, Jen
