Please, all students of the University of lagos be informed and aware that the academic activities will resume on monday, 18th June 2012.The University of Lagos Senate, at an Emergency Meeting recently this week, to be precise, on Monday, 11th June, 2012 decided to review the recent suspension of academic activities, and the resolved are as follows.1. All academic activities should resume onMonday, 18th June, 20122. Accordingly, the Halls of Residence will be re-opened on Sunday, 17th June, 2012 at 4.00 p.m.3. The institution senate has also resolved the following;4. The proposed renaming of the University of Lagos to Moshodi Abiola University is not acceptable and is rejected in its entirety as it is a mere declaration of intention with no legal effect.4. The University of Lagos Senate supports all legal processes being carried out by all stakeholders on the following subject.However, we would love to know, is the education institution still legally known as University of Lagos?
