I just answered another question for a project lead and thought it might be interesting to post it here too. This could serve as a brief synopsis of my SEO services and other Internet marketing services like social media optimization. Hi (name withheld) Maybe I'll give you a real life demonstration of how well I drive traffic to web sites. I have a drywall taping business that serves Toronto and York region www.drywalltaper.ca It ranks well in Google for most of my industry specific keywords. When someone searches for "drywall taper" my site is #1. When someone searches for any related keywords ie "Toronto drywall taping" my site is #4 and #5. I can make them up too, let's say someone searches for "drywall and painting company" #11 etc. etc. You would want to rank well for all your industry specific keyphrases too: ie auto parts manufacturer, Toronto machine operators, metal fabrication etc. etc. Maybe not get #1 position for every keyphrase but at least show up in the top results somewhere for them. Definitely score high for regional specific search (those searching for specific services in Toronto and area). Sites need to be optimized for specific keyphrases. When done well, sites like my drywall taping business web site often can bring me three or four good local project leads a day. The same approach goes into every other Internet marketing project I work for. I can give you many more examples but the results are the same. I am a highly skilled ethical (white) SEO expert. At my calibre, whatever I touch rules the world. What else do I do. Well social media optimization for one. I create powerful Google+ pages ie for my SEO business I created the G+ Page +canadafred.seo.expert and a similar Facebook Business Page for my SEO business canadafred.seo.expert. These social media outlets and sometimes others are used to create a buzz around my web site, trigger popularity ranking factors, add dimension to a web site promotion strategy and generally get people interested in services to go visit web sites for more details and contact information. Most web sites I work on have a blog or something incorporated with it that help drive in traffic from other pertinent angles. I'd certainly rebuild your web sites to upgrade them into search engine results mega machine like what I'm doing with www.tpeproductions.com . I'm incorporating a blog http://tpeproductions.blogspot.com/ for that one to give a more behind the scenes look at some of the services this company offers. This example is still in development I'm just trying to poit out SEO friendly web design. The visitor's experience is important. You want them to show up at your pages but you also want them to contact you for services. That's my big marketing talents really: get the targeted traffic and then convert it to sales. Essentially I could take your existing content and optimizing it in a more user-friendly/modern web site, add a social media element, some off-site ranking influences (blog) and maintain that for you. I'm not sure if you are familiar with "sponsored ads" but I do that too. I am a Google Adwords Engage participant (awaiting certification test this week). Adwords is an additional avenue that can be cost-effective for web page visibility to targeted consumers. Essentially, if I knew of a budget for search engine marketing I could tailor a web site promotion plan that would make most use of your money whether that be as little as optimizing your existing content or completely restructuring your Internet marketing strategy. I would think though, if you wanted top ranks for most of your industry specific keywords it would take a bit of work.
