I live in a very quiet suburb, called Bro, which is located north of Stockholm, Sweden. Normally, not so much in happening here in Bro. There is a small Centre, not so many companies, a train station and a lot of nature. Not so many people are visiting my city on a regular day; people who live here are travelling to and from their working-places in Stockholm and enjoy quiet evenings and weekends in the country-side. But for a few days each year my hometown becomes the centre of attention for Golf lovers all over the world – this year between June 6th and 9th Bro Hof Slott Golf Club is hosting the Nordea Masters, the Swedish European Tour tournament which is the country’s biggest golf tournament attracting the very best players in the world. The landscape of Bro Hof Slott is breathtaking. In fact, Sweden is one of the most beautiful countries in the world during the summer with fresh air and blue and green colours everywhere. Since many companies are sponsoring the event and many of the visitors are successful careerists, this is a great opportunity for many to mingle and to be seen – trying to meet new people who share similar interests or work at the same branch. I strongly advise those of you who are looking for job opportunities or to advance in their careers to go to different events where you could connect to interesting people who share the same passion and interests as you are.
