By now you'll probably have seen or experienced Windows 8 on a PC or laptop and would love to use it on touch based interface. For Android Tablets: XDA developers' member BroBot175 recently developed a Windows 8 Metro hack to root Android Tablets. You'll be able to use this hack on your tablet with either Android ICS or Honeycomb OS. Here's a Screenshot to give a small demonstration of a Android Tablet with Windows 8 Metro UI. Pretty cool right? Well, let me just tell you that its not just a piece of cake. We suggest only experienced users who have rooted devices before should try this one or else you may harm you device. Unlike the above shown hack for Android Tablets, you won't have to root or hack your iPad to use this Metro UI but just install a app called Splashtop. With this app, you'll get full Windows 8 experience on your iPad including Windows 8 gestures, apps, features and even sound. Although, for this to work you'll need a Windows 8 running PC or laptop. This app would be uterly helpful to the developers because if a developer wants to create a Windows app then he will be able to test the interface & functionality of app on Metro UI powered iPad rather than wait for few Windows Tablets.
