Athletic Bilbao: a year ago I would have said Athletic selling Javi Martinez would be impossible, but considering how out of place he looked in Marcelo Bielsa´s system which relies on width and not so much explosiveness from the middle, it is looking rather interesting to say the least. FC Barcelona are one suitor. They would essentially trade one of their young cantera players for the rights to Real Betis´s Basque midfielder Beñat and then try to entice Athletic for Javi. Bayern Munich would just buy him outright. I´m still not sure anything will happen. Atletico de Madrid: with creative spark Diego leaving for Germany after his loan-spell ends, the club had considered the possibility of signing Mexican Giovanni Dos Santos. That looks dead. His club Spurs would consider a move only if he were bought outright. Atléti have no money. Impasse continues for Gio. Celta Vigo: The Viguenses want fromer Villarreal youth-team prospect Jonathan Pereira from current club Real Betis and are willing to include a series of players like Roberto Lago or Andres Tunez to the mix. Deportivo La Coruña: Argentine central defender Diego Colotto has been sold to RCD Espanyol. Espanyol: much like Coro and Kameni before him, midfielder Javi Marquez has been told by the club that his services are no longer necessary, that he should negotiate his exit on his own, otherwise he will be frozen out when the club starts training again at Perelada in July. Apparently there is some interest from Valencia on the range of 3 million euros. Getafe: former Getafe coach Michael Laudrup has been hired at Swansea. People remember him as a player, but they have been underwhelmed by his recent stints at Spartak Moscow and a contentious season at Real Mallorca. When left alone, and he can implement his scheme, Laudrup is an excellent hire to continue Brendan Rogers´s work. In his year at Getafe he reached the final of the Copa del Rey, losing to Valencia, and was a UEFA Cup quarter-finalist. Granada:
