Photo of Saint Silvan Body Saint Silvan died in 350 (circa). There is little known about this beautiful saint except that he was martyred in the fourth century. Look closely at the picture and you can see a large slice in his neck, an obvious clue to his martyrdom. Also you can see an embroidered cross on the front of his garment indicating that he may have been a priest or some other cleric. St Silvan’s magnificently incorrupt body can be viewed in the Church of St. Blaise in Dubrovnik (Croatia). Considering his body is over 1,600 years old, it is remarkably preserved. Video:
