A free outdoor concert early next month at New Bern’s historic Tryon Palace helps launch the North Carolina Symphony’s 80th year of service to the state. Symphony Music Director Grant Llewellyn leads the orchestra and featured pianist Clara Yang in “Rhapsody in Blue” on the South Lawn on Saturday, June 2 at 7:30 p.m.
