Yi Siling of China Won the 1st Gold in London Olympics

While other teams or countries continue their quest to earned their own gold, Yi of China made a mark in the heart of London Olympics few hours after of the opening ceremony. She won the first gold in 10-meters air rifle shooting in women category which started at the noontime of this Saturday, July 28, 2012. Furthermore, she is the banner bearer on her own field who defeated Sylwia Bogacka of Poland.And guess what, her partner, Dan Yu got the bronze medal. However, this is the first appearances of Yi in Olympic games but she's been with a lot of competition way back in her region. She is one of the famous athlete in her hometown in China as well in their neighboring countries. The last stage of the shooting competition becomes a memorable event for her new achievement.The wife of the famous American shooter, Matt Emmons also compete in the said category but ended in 4th place following the bronze medalist coming from the same team.
