Alain de Botton is a writer, philosopher and founder of the School of Life. Polite and measured, he's credited for looking behind everyday, accessible subjects such as celebrity, status, love and happiness and for making the masses think. He's now turned his eye to religion in his new book Religion for Atheists, which he’ll be discussing at the inaugral Words in the Park literature festival. We caught up with him.
