I admit I was hesitant to try out this shampoo made for use on horses and reformulated for human use. My hair is currently at the longest its ever been since I was at primary school and really lacking volume. After reading lots of great reviews and really getting into discovering new products for my hair I went to give it a go! Its has a generic spa like scent, I can't say exactly buts its pleasant. Although it doesn't really stay around once your hair is dried. The shampoo is quite thick due to its micro-enriched protein formula but this helps to moisturise the scalp and hair. I have normal hair that sometimes can feel dry and this would be a great shampoo for those with the same or really dry hair. The rich formula can build up with regular use so its not ideal for those with oily hair and to be used daily. Ingredients:Water Sodium Lauryl Sulfate Cocamidopropyl Betaine Cocamide DEA Glycol Distearate Sodium Chloride Propylene Glycol Fragrance Hydrolyzed Collagen Citric Acid Methylchloroisothiazolinone/Methylisothiazolinone Butylphenyl Methylpropiona This didn't make my hair feel its softest and I think I have used other shampoos that provided more softness. Although with that said this shampoo made my hair so much more manageable and certainly more volumised. Having really soft hair is great but for really long hair this can make my hair too sleek and weigh it down. This gave me the right amount of moisture, shine but most of all great volume. I would repurchase this and use it on the occasions where I want full looking hair. 9/10 I can see why this horse shampoo would be off putting on the shelves but I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
