The Quincies start stealing bankais. Byakuya looks like he is about to cry after getting his bankai robbed. Summary: Hidetomo and his squad from the 13th Division confront a Quincy invader and things are not going to end well for the shinigamis. Meanwhile, Byakuya cuts up the spike mouth Quincy's hand and then sends the luchador crashing through the ground with some sort of trap. Despite knowing that the Quincies have some sort of power to neutralize bankais, Byakuya along with Hitsugaya, Sui-feng and Komamura activate their bankais. The Stern Ritters they face then promptly activate their special badges to rip away the bankais, and Byakuya realizes that the Quincies are stealing their bankais. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I kind of forgot about that cheap bankai-ripping thing the Vandenreich could do. So things are not looking good for the shinigami captains, especially those four who jumped the gun to use bankai despite knowing that the enemy had some sort of ability to neutralize the power-up. Some of the captains do have other combat skills besides using their bankais, but it's sure going to be tough without their bankais. The shinigamis had better find a counter to this. We'll see if the older captains like Unohana, Ukitake and Kyoraku might have some other strategies since it would be bad if every captain got their bankais ripped off like chumps. I suppose such a situation also makes Mr. "no bankai captain" Kenpachi more useful since he doesn't have a bankai to begin with, and of course it's been established that the bankai ripping doesn't work on Ichigo who we all know is "special".
