The last few films have been pretty entertaining and evidently quite distracting by looking at the kill count (up there, top right) which has hardly budged. Looking back, I’m not entirely sure what’s kept our zombie hunters’ attention on them so long. Any ideas?

Anyone that plays 40k (or dice games, really) knows that, generally, 1s mean something bad. And this zombie scenario of 40k is no different. All those 1s represent squads which have run out of ammo. And there’s a zombie horde waiting to snack on some tasty ceramite-wrapped Space Marines.

39,093 zombies to kill until we hit 150,000: we have eight hours to go, meaning between us we have to kill 4989 zombies per hour. I fancy our chances but the night seems to have taken its toll on some of our more hardcore zombie hunters.

It would be fair to say that these zombie films have done a brilliant job at keeping us up all night. Not because we have been scared witless by them — but more they have been deafeningly loud through the speakers in The White Room.

A tough and long slog but the sun has risen and there are plenty of zombie hunters left to carry on the fight. We’ve reached over 90,000 zombies now and have 10 hours left! It’s unclear if we can carry on the momentum as a few casualties are beginning to appear…
