2012 Met Gala Highs and Lows

Published on 2012-05-14 13:31:00

The Met Gala is fabulous. I can't handle how amazing the fashion is. I would kill to be a fly on those finely woven linen tents. This year there was some fashion that was daring and beautiful and some fashion that, while daring, was ugly.Ashley Greene in Donna Karan > read more

Target Fashion

Published on 2012-05-05 11:14:00

I love Target. I know there are always similar stores, like drug stores and Wal-Mart, but for some reason Target is a cut above. Plus there are always some great fashion finds there, including the pictures below. Honestly, I would purchase most of these bags if I didn't already have too many purses. > read more

Giuseppe Zanotti Makes Some Beautiful/Cool Shoes

Published on 2012-05-04 12:46:00

It feels like all of a sudden I see Giuseppe Zanotti's name all over the place. Every Hollywood celebrity is wearing something from him and it's usually a towering heel that I still can't understand the physics of. How on earth can you walk in that? And I bet your foot is too small to handle that angle well...Anyway so it made me curious to find out more about his designs. I was pleasantly surprised. Despite the towering heels that the starlets have become obsessed with, Zanotti makes some reall [..] > read more

Dresses I Would Wear To A Fancy Schmancy Event. If I Was Actually Going To One...

Published on 2012-05-03 10:00:00

I really wish I had occasions to wear dresses like this. They are just absolutely stunning. Who are you people [wearing these] and how did you get to your social stature? I'm pretty sure I would hack off my right foot to have the opportunity to experience this level of fashion all year round. Sure, I mean, it wouldn't be that great a look, but I'd deal. I'd just wear gowns everywhere and then no one would see my one mangled leg. I'm just going to force all of my friends to make their weddings bl [..] > read more

Christian Siriano Spring/Summer 2012 RTW

Published on 2012-05-02 10:00:00

I love Christian Siriano. I loved every second of Project Runway when he was on it. I loved his creations, his attitude, his "fierce"ness. My dad, who knows nothing about fashion or celebrities or anything like that, knows who Christian Siriano is. I mean he doesn't know his name, he knows him as triangle haircut guy, but he knows he was on that show because he watched with me one day many years ago. > read more

Belts I Love Right Now, Perfect For Spring

Published on 2012-04-30 14:47:00

It's funny, I almost never wear belts with pants, but I love the look they give a loose top or a dress. Cut holes in a sheet and put that on and you tell me how fashionable that look is, but throw a belt on that and you have a fitted dress that creates a great silhouette. Most of these are the types of belts you would wear at your natural waist over a dress or tunic, but you could get away with these with pants. > read more

This Dress Seems Like A Dull Orange, But Here's How To Dress It Up

I saw this orange dress and thought it had a great shape but thought the color was a littler drab. I mean look at it! It looks kind of dull and like it might wash out people if they wore it. I figured, though, there has to be some way to style this though so that it isn't boring. I was right! Check out the cool accessories that make the dress pop! At Boston College, the Boston Marathon is a big deal.
