...like a record baby right round round round. As the Manson song goes, I too was a fan of spinning. When it comes to memory devices, that is. I've always been a proponent of Hard disks vis-a-vis solid state. The advantages are obvious. Larger capacity at a cheaper cost. And that is why I purchased a Creative Zen when there were flashier, cooler devices around (Not the evilPod though. I refuse to be a pawn in unca Stevie's plan of world domination. Plus, it looks gay and stuff). 6 gigs for the pr

Yes, entire civilizations could have risen, flourished and turned back to dust in the time gap between this post and the last one. In fact, so out of touch with writing am I, that I do not know what to type here anymore~!Let's just say that after a quarter of a century of existence on this planet, I can finally say that I am somebody. The academia is done with (in the best way possible), the career has been kickstarted into high gear and with god's grace, the wheels are arriving soon.To the half

Returning to "The sum of all my synns": Music talk.

Published on 2007-11-12 04:38:00

Holla amigos...Been a long time... Been a long time... Been a long, lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely time.......Since we talked music. Right?Well, screw that, coz music is back, and is here to stay! For starters, here's a little somethin' 'bout the Synner's favorite genre, Hair Metal:While surfin' around in ye olde interweb, the Synner came across this li'l discussion titled "What will have the most impact on rock history: 80's metal/ grunge or emo"?...and here's what he said:I am in my mid 20

Ya know...The Synner doesn't usually follow every backlink to ye olde blog that's reported by his stat keeping thingy. But today, one particular link caught his attention. And that was because his good friend, Hitanshu commented there. It was a post by someone at one of India's more popular Biking message groups, Bike nomads. It started out simple enough, with somebody posting a thread about The Indian motorcyclist. And then the shit hits the ceiling.Somebody named Navendu Singh, quite the schola

Ya know, Sometimes, the Synner feels that he's the Friggin' Oracle or somethin'...A while back, he made a post on small capacity sportbikes makin' a comeback (albeit, 400CC) and bada bing! Yamaha launches the R125 soon after... He'd be extremely surprised if at least one more bike isn't unveiled between the R125 and the R6.That being said, the R125 and its (possible) brethren are still quite a while away from reaching the Indian shores. But fret not. My faithful Synnors and synnoras are in for

Pardon the synner for this extremely graphic intro, but he needs to get a doubt cleared before he starts yet another rant-o-rama.Why on god's earth are there "Flavored condoms", when the flip side of the pack says "For vaginal use only"? Yeah. You do the math. Or anatomy. Or whatever....anyhoo, time for another round of speculations. The Grand Poobah of motorshows in the Indian realm, the Auto Expo, is closing in as we speak, and the Interweb is abuzz with rumors of impending launches. Talks of

Time for another post, dontcha' think? The synner has been very busy lately. Very Very busy..To recap the happenings of the last 10 or so months, the Synner has been in Singy doing his Honors in Media From SAE Institute of Australia and Middlesex Uni, UK. As of the moment, he is done with all, but the final project+thesis (which is quite the juicy one, trust me. Will unveil it soon 'nuff), and is contemplating the prospect of entering the job market within the next couple of months.Have been send

Well well well...Ever hoped to score with that chick living down the lane, only to be abducted by the entire female gymnastics team of Ukraine and being used as their sex toy thereafter? And then lay back, and watch them fight with each other on who could satisfy you better?Pardon the extremely cheesy innuendos, but this is what the Indian motorcyclist has been subjected to, the past few days. Some of us here are aware that sporty sub-400 CC motorcycles are all-but-dead in most parts of the world, the exceptions being japan of course, and a few other far eastern markets. This is largely due to the fact that manufacturers haven't bothered to update/ have stopped production of these machines in favor of bigger fry, namely, the 600s and the thou's. Well, that may be about to change soon. Pretty damn soon. as reported by MC-USA, Power limits have been scrapped in Japan, meaning that home

Coz signing that worthless piece of.. something was the dumbest thing that Yamaha India did. The Synner knows that desperate people(or MNCs) do desperate things, but John f'n Abraham? For most Indians, spending a day or two in Thailand would be a unique experience, owing to the complete lack of colonial influences and customs. But more important to our little discussion here, the two wheeler enthusiasts among us will be shell shocked with the complete lack of "two-wheeler-apartheid".Confused?
