If you want to delete files permanently and don't want them to go to the recycle bin then hold down the Shift key while pressing Delete on the keyboard or by clicking on the word Delete in a menu and the file will permanently be deleted.This is handy if you use a public computer or if you don't have time to empty the recycle bin.
