Meet the boys of the band Ever Rest! This was just a little somethin' something' i whipped up one night at home..Throught I'd get my creative juices flowing and I've always wanted to draw a group of people together, and I thought a band would be a perfect way to do this. So from left to right, we have Tom, Chris, Kris in the center, Adrian and Tom aka Bartha. I highly recommend you check these boys out, awesome entertainers! GET BETR NOW

Published on 2012-03-11 20:41:00

This piece is a representation of a feeling. A feeling of conflicting thoughts and moods. Being a female, I am of course a whack-job. I have these conflicts with my own mind too many hours in the day, too many days a week, too many weeks a month! The obvious split between the two moods, of being overly chirpy and being a complete and utter mind zombie. One side featured a lot of colour, pattern and cheer, and the other less colour, the two lines on the cheek of the face representing that of whic [..] > read more

These silly things were done awhile ago out ofboredom. Flipping through a Frankie magazineI saw some reaaal potential for me to 'misspaul'some things up. So that is exactly what I did. This image here on the left displays some elderly women having a sweet little group hug, or perhapssome hippie drum circle sorta thing going on..oldpeople and pot teacakes? It happens. Anyhow, regardless of what they were doing, I turned their sweet little teaparty into some demonic and humorous rendition of creepy [..] > read more

Oooh La Love,

Published on 2012-03-11 08:35:00

Everyone welcome another colourful misspaul child into the world! This lovely piece was done surprisingly fast and I didn't have too much of a mind block with it. The words on the 3-d shapes read 'Oh la La, I've fallen in love, And it's better this time than ever before'. These are lyrics from a Foster the people song titled "I would do anything for you" which you can check out here . Listening to this song just really does give you that warm fuzzy feeling inside, especially if you have one sig [..] > read more

What a fancy face you have!

Published on 2012-03-10 08:01:00

Well i do say..that is quiet the face. This illustration kookie as always, but on a more lighter note don't you think? misspaul drawings are always odd and can be hard to read the mood of the piece of work. But this drawing is obviously one from a positive place. From the bright colours to the goofy and innocent face of the feature, this is a drawing that I wanted to evoke a cheeky, charming-ness to.So on this piece of work I used 0.8 Fine-liner and 0.1 fine-liner. The colour is all coloured pen [..] > read more

KONY 2012 misspaul style

Published on 2012-03-10 07:14:00

So if you haven't heard, and have been living in some moss and mushroom infested enclosure for the past week, you wouldn't be aware of the current viral phenomenon that is the KONY 2012 campaign. Basically it is a group called the 'Invisible Children' who created this high quality informative and somewhat documentive video on the on going issue of Rebel groups in Africa enslaving young children as soldiers and sex slaves. It shines light on an issue that is nothing new to the African people, but [..] > read more

I have been ever so neglectful of my sweet joy of drawing. I hit a bubble which in-cased me in a total mind block of ideas and inspiration. Just recently I've been trying to get the ball rolling a bit, I will post some of my more latest work which you can expect some new shapes and shock horror, LOTS of colour! (I mean lots) I've had some new inspirations kick me back into creative shape these past few weeks, it took a lot of wondering and observing around the city streets to help this happen. Queen of hearts

Published on 2011-07-27 07:46:00

This piece is called 'Queen of hearts' ultimately running along the idea that you, yourself, are the king/queen of your own heart. Bullshitt when people say their heart was stolen, blah blah. It is something that is attached to you, no it won't be stolen, But given in that split moment you are foolish enough to take a risk. Foolish and brave I suppose. Along the side it says 'for you dear' backing up the idea that you are the one who hands your heart over to someone, and you hand it over so peac [..] > read more

Sneak peak

Published on 2011-07-16 21:18:00

I actually don't know where I was going with this piece. It was a spontaneous combustion of me really wanting to come out with something new. I've been stuck in work mode and a routine that contains sleep, eat, work and nothing more else. So this piece has little-to-no inspiration behind it really, just a bunch of pics I liked and saw and infused this together. Not a favourite work, hardly like it at all actually. But somehow it got a video..geeez-la-weez. Anyhoo check it out! This piece was done [..] > read more

Latest Stuff

who knew I had a dark side huh?Yes yes, funny. This little project is a selection of black and white drawings I've done. They are a little different from my usual style, but the overall technique and principles are obvious. As you can see, I started this on the 13/07/11. I've gotten into the habit of dating my sketch books or pocket books. Inspiration behind these pieces are well, mostly the thoughts in my head I don't wish to say out loud.
