Movie Titles that Sounds like...
Published on 2012-05-18 10:05:00
I came across a trailer to a film called "Let's Scare Jessica To Death" (1971) a good old' Friday scare-all movie. Dear reader, please pass the popcorn. I wouldn't watch this just so soon but my trolling senses are tingling The first thing that came to mind when I read the title was the 1974 Filipino film titled "Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara" which directly translates in English as "Scare Barbara to Death". The two films have completely different plots. Which got me asking folks from the Cine [..] > read more
So you hate "Hot Problems"?
Published on 2012-05-17 04:41:00
Is there a second worst music video of all time? Yes? "Hot Problems" perhaps. If you haven't heard of "Hot Problems" check out the Bad Lip Reading version ("parodied" if you prefer) of the song, it is called "Time To Rock". It may not make any sense but compared to the original I managed to get through the whole song. I came across "Hot Problems" through a CNN report and I could not help but see for myself how bad it really is. "Hot Problems" was made just for fun, I can respect that. On the [..] > read more

Thinking over a 4 year writing degree

I am on the 1st week of my "serious" job hunt since I am already easing out of my recovery from vasculitis. The job market is big but I am starting to see conflicts in the jobs I wish to pursue from the degree I attained. The jobs I seek are mostly design jobs that are requiring degrees of fine arts, IT and believe it or not engineering. Where do I find myself in the midst of professions that I do not belong to on paper? My four year course does not say anything about the things I can do apart [..] > read more

I'm Torn: Canon IXUS 220 VS Pentax Q
Published on 2012-04-26 08:59:00
I am recently asked by a generous soul if I am looking for a digital camera (^u^). Since my trusty IXUS 80 IS is starting to slack on indoor action shots (especially during concerts noooooo) I think its about time for an upgrade.
