This blog is going to be about Reiki.Reiki has changed me in so many ways, All my life I have been searching, looking for my true path but never really finding it. I was drawn to starting to make Polymer Jewelry, Sculpting, Oil Painting,Yoga but never really got the feeling I was whole something was still missing. Having been told I have Osteoarthritis in multiple joints.I thought I would write a quick post about it ! At last my oil painting is finished,I painted the last piece this morning, I mixed Titanium White,Phthalo Blue,Cobalt Blue Hue, and Ultra Marine Blue together to add to the background behind her head. I was going to have her wearing a cape but decided I wanted it to look more spiritual, so I added a blast of blue light behind her.I then mixed Yellow Ochre, and Deep Yellow to paint in the shawl covering the baby, and just added a touch of Burnt umber for the shaded areas of the shawl. This week I concentrated on the face a bit more adding more to the facial features and just added a lighter colour to her hair.I started by mixing Raw Umber,Brilliant Red, Magenta, Violet,Burnt Umber,Deep Yellow, and Zinc White together, adding it to the parts I wanted to be high lightened.You will see in the photo's I wanted to make her hair not so high I have decided now she is going to have a cape hood over her head !as I have already said I change my mind like the wind when painting.
