On the bright side, having no offense set up UF's punter Christy (4) to probably be player of the game. Gator's D was strong too, quick with great pass defense. Gators didn't get [..]

Gators ranked 10 took on LSU ranked 3 today, depending on the poll. Mike Gillislee (23) had a massive day today. Gillislee scored two touchdowns for the Gators against LSU! This game would have been pretty horrible to watch it you weren't a Gator. It was a game of strong defense, and almost no passing. It was a slow, low scoring, running grind. LSU has not looked impressive in the last two weeks, in which they barely escaped against an awful Auburn team and against FCS Towson. A big part of the struggles have been on the offensive side of the ball, which is unsurprising for those that owned a television set during the BCS Championship Game against Alabama. Spain is approaching dynasty status with this win over Italy. Ball possession time was nearly 50%-50% this game. Which was surprising because Spain looked to be in control most of the game. Spains touches were clean and precise, and Italy seemed a bit rushed with the ball. Both squads had strong defense. Iniesta for Spain and Pirlo for Italy both ran very strong mid field play. FSU is going to join the Big 12, and will probably take Clemson and, and VT is going to come to the SEC as the ACC and Big East merge into a conference full of suck. And I'm not the only one who thinks so (http://outkickthecoverage.com/virginia-tech-fans-have-sec-fever.php). Everyone thinks the natural next step is a 16 team SEC (http://gatorsfirst.com/index.php/florida-gators-sports-news/college-football/a-16-team-sec-dream.html). However, what if the SEC stuck to 15? Game 1 - Bowling Green's Returning Starters

Bowling Green is returning 17 starters, including starting QB Matt Schilz. Schilz did a decent job last season in his second year, completing almost 60% of his passes for over 3,000 yards, with 28 touchdowns. That said, the falcons finished with a 5-7 record, haven't won a bowl since 2004, and need a borderline miracle to beat the Gators.
