In the wake of the incident pertaining to the video above, killer trucks should be banned for good. There was a similar incident in Tagaytay late last year and I’m sure there are countless other accidents involving trucks. But what are killer trucks? They’re obviously those which lack proper maintenance and so they end up malfunctioning most of the time. The trouble they cause to their own drivers and owners is nothing compared to the issue they bring in public roads. Causing traffic is noth [..] > read more
EON, UnionBank, and Globe Refill Card Drama
Published on 2012-02-25 08:12:00
Image from www.filoutlet.com Today was an EON, UnionBank and Globe Refill Card jinx drama. I went out to withdraw everything from the EON card so there’s no funds left for potentially attracted hackers to use just in case (call me paranoid, yes!). So what happened? My EON card was completely blocked. I needed to refill minutes to call UnionBank and the recording says, “card is invalid.” Whew! What else can I ask for? Jinx! Anyway, all is a bit well now while I’m writing this. What happ [..] > read more
Why and How to Setup Two-step Verification in Gmail
Published on 2012-02-24 01:09:00
Image: Master isolated images / FreeDigitalPhotos.net I mentioned about the double verification in Gmail on the entry The Essence or Not of Internet Presence. So for this post, I’d like to share about it why and how to setup two-step verification in Gmail. But before I write about the steps needed, there are other questions which must be answered first. Why do you need to setup two-step verification in Gmail? While online, you never know when viruses, Trojan, spyware, and other malware may in [..] > read more
Walking All Over the Net
Published on 2012-02-23 04:43:00
In relation to the previous post about the essence of Internet presence, here’s another thought which came to mind. It’s about the concept of walking the net, walking all over the net at that. Walking all over the net is nothing profound actually. It’s similar to saying surfing the Internet where one surfs the web for anything and everything one stumbles upon with including videos, audio, articles, sites, chat room, community forums and the like. This concept had even evolved into new act [..] > read more
I Got Charged Around P800 in PayPal!

Image: Clare Bloomfield / FreeDigitalPhotos.net I was wondering what to blog about today and something came up. It’s nothing to be excited about but I’d like to write about it nonetheless. I got charged about P800 (around $19) in PayPal! I’m no newbie when it comes to payment transactions in PayPal. I’ve been using it for almost a year now. I know there are fees for certain services but never for personal use and to make purchases. What I was doing earlier was personal anyway and I certa [..] > read more

Thus, the use of various strategies is in demand including social media, article marketing, directory submission, back linking, and the like. So thank be for the essence of Internet presence! Its importance is providing millions of jobs to freelancers worldwide. I won’t be expounding on the essence of Internet presence [..] > read more
Building a Passive Income through InfoBarrel
Published on 2012-02-19 21:36:00
I’m building a passive income through InfoBarrel. It may be slow, but the journey is surely moving towards the goal. But how is this done? Read on to know. I came across InfoBarrel after the incident I journaled about in relation to HubPages which is probably the biggest revenue sharing content site. I searched for alternative sites and chose InfoBarrel over all the other sites I came across with. Why InfoBarrel? There are quite a number of other writing sites you can submit articles to. But [..] > read more
Describe and Express Sadness
Published on 2012-02-18 10:45:00
Image: worradmu / FreeDigitalPhotos.net Sadness is indescribable. No word is synonymous to it. No words whether few or more can be able to describe what you feel emotionally. If I say is it as deep as an ocean or as high a mountain, I merely measure its depth and height. If I say it feels worse than death for you are well aware of every sense of pain possible, I am simply comparing it with something else. So why bother describing sadness? All I know is that I feel it in every single part of me: [..] > read more
A Check List Before You Become a Full Time Freelancer
Published on 2012-02-17 09:59:00
It’s no secret that I’m a freelancer. In fact I’ve been one for more than a year now. But I’ve only been a full time freelancer for the past few months. And if you’re contemplating on following the same path, here’s a check list you should consult first before you quit your job. Part Time Freelancing Image: Ambro / FreeDigitalPhotos.net I was freelancing on a part time basis and kept my regular job for more than 6 months before becoming a full time freelancer. Natuform Beauty Breast Product Review
Published on 2012-02-14 22:17:00
I never wrote personal reviews before. Most of the reviews I’ve written are impersonal and formal. They were not posted on this personal blog as well. Most of them are on my InfoBarrel account (i.e. Breast Actives, African Mango). But I’d like to write a personal review about the Natuform Beauty Breast product for this entry. This will be my 3rd cycle of using Natuform’s breast enhancement product already. The first 2 cycles were completed last year. Before I continue, I’d like to mentio [..] > read more
For the Love of Crab, Shrimp, and Seafood
Published on 2012-02-13 13:33:00
With all the Valentine’s Day specials, posts, and comments filling the Internet world as I’m writing this, what I’m thinking of is not the usual love everyone is talking about. I’m still awake right now for the love of crabs and other seafood! The love for crab and other sea food led me as far as to make a Facebook page about it. So in case you ever drop by and if you share the same appetite for crustacean food, check this page out: Crabs, Shrimps,Lobsters. Back to this entry, here are s [..] > read more

High School, Great Expectations of the Young, and Changing the World
Published on 2012-01-30 08:54:00
I’m sure our town takes pride that there is a Villasis native as famous as Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited’s housemate Roy Gamboa. What’s even better is that he hails from the same high school which I attended and he was a classmate of mine from the freshman until senior years. But this entry will be all about high school in general, especially since we just had a high school reunion alongside the town fiesta recently. The video above was created by one of our classmates who compiled photos [..] > read more
Mission Impossible Unlimited?
Published on 2012-01-17 13:43:00
I’m no movie reviewer. I’m a movie addict though. Like other average movie-goers, I watch with that, “here we are now, entertain us” attitude. I do watch movies and see beyond the obvious sometimes, i.e. become a critique and learn what is to be learned from a movie. Most of the time though, I’m just like any other regular movie fan, I simply watch and like or hate the movie afterwards. What You Can Do About the One Who Got Away
Published on 2012-01-12 00:18:00
The past few days have been spent and overspent on thinking, imagining, reminiscing, and everything else in between. A lazy day became lazy days and it will probably extend to weeks and months more, but hopefully not years. It’s one of the benefits of being a freelancer. You have full control of your time. You can work when you want to and you can stop when you don’t feel like working. What have I been thinking about? - Some weird and crazy thoughts which may or may not be true. As usual, I [..] > read more

The year that was, 2011, saw great things for this blog – Free Minds Free Lines. One, it was finally registered with its own domain name from the generic Blogspot URL. The blog is less heavy and more light hearted now too. Although it remains a personal blog, there are blog posts that are helpful and useful too. It’s this blog’s way of giving back to the community or readers, bloggers, and blog walkers everything I have learned online. To read more about the domain name registration for Fr [..] > read more
Spending Pre-New Year on a Ride and New Year on a Break
Published on 2012-01-01 12:52:00
Pre-New Year was spent on a ride for me while New Year itself was spent on a break. It was literally a ride before New Year as we we’re driving along seemingly unchartered territories down west of my home province. Apparently, there is a shortcut from the western towns going to the east without having to go through the traffic full city areas. We have found out after going through a joy ride to places we’ve never seen before – rivers, fish ponds, dikes, farms, and residential homes in the [..] > read more
