Well I finally cut out the stencil I made and applied it to the bombay chest using spackle. I have the top of the piece filled in with wood putty where the damadge was that I showed you all before.NOW I gotta decide what color to paint this thing decisions decisions lol once I get the paint color picked out then I have to figure out what I'm gonna glaze it with to make the pineapple to stand out.... so tonight I'm going to primer this to seal the stencil. Does anyone do the once a month cooking? would greatly appreciate any tips or recipes you can share with that. Just stopping in to say hello and show you my latest purchase. We traveled to Bristol, TN this weekend and I stopped in a shop called Decoration Station and bought a couple things there, that were in the damaged section. Here's pic of the bombay table. Regular 199 bucks I picked this up for 30 it has several cracks all around and one major HOLE that looks like a dent in this picture that you see at the top. My plans are to go up inside and screw some wood to build it back up and fill it in

No I haven't forgotten my friends or blog world.... waiting to get my computer back, it got a malware virus :(so hoping they can get that off there and I can recover all my documents and photos so I'm on pins and needles til I get the phone call from the technician on whether he can fix it or not.Wanted to share my pics of disney with you all but that will have to wait til I get the computer back, other than vacation time I haven't accomplished much. Sorry I've been away so long, I took a little trip, so was out for a week. Yesterday was my birthday so thought I'd share some of my goodies that I got.My sister made me the tray (pictured above), she crackle painted it, added the lettering for ENJOY and put glass over top and some handles on the side. Okay had some questions as to how I did the drop cloth curtains in my bedroom redo so I will try to address them here :)Yes they make them about any size you need. I personally did not choose to do the curtains all the way to the floor because on one side I have an electric heater and I had long curtains before I put these up and they were a pain to deal with in winter because the heater was on and I couldnt let the curtains rest on the heater to avoid a fire, plus they gather a LOT of dust when

I just crave comfort food when I don't feel well or when the weather is cold. update on me: I went to the dr last week still my pap revealed I have a precancerous growth which he said is slow growing so on May 25th I will go back and he will biopsy that in his office and send it off and that will tell him how he needs to deal with it I think you can either get it frozen, lasered or cut out depending on severity so will have to wait and see what that biopsy shows. So it was not good news hearing I needed another surgery but it wasnt the worst news either he could have tol

Update on me: I have a dr's appointment today 4/29/10 at 2:15, please keep me in your thoughts. Was a nice trip, I really enjoyed myself and I made it thru the weekend with no mishaps health wise. We stayed in a hotel across from the Childress Vineyard it was so beautiful and there was a wedding going on at the same time we were there just beautiful is all I can say.here are some pics nc zoo trip I have to say the 4d Dora and Diego movie was my favorite part of the zoo LOL first time experiencing a 4d movie it was awesome had a lot of laughs just what I needed.Hope you all have a good week

I had outpatient surgery done on friday. I'm at home recouperating now will be going back to dr in two weeks to make sure I am on the mend. I appreicate all your prayers and thoughts.

Seems like if its not one thing its another, with my health, I'm ready to pull my hair out. Anywho I am over the pneumonia and now having problems with something else and may have to have surgery, to make a long story short.I have a dr visit on Thrusday, April 15th. well after Easter this weekend I'm gonna get the new theme going in my home I'm having fun looking for the items in the meantime.I was surfing the other day for some bedroom ideas and found these wonderful cozy pictures. Thought I'd snap a few quick photos of the easter stuff I put out nothing exciting but I knew if I didnt' take photos I'd take the stuff down b4 I got to show you lol Easter and heres a great recipe I tried that will be a definitely make again. Since its just me at home I divided mine into two smaller dishes and froze one I have to say I liked it better reheated because when it was hot there wasnt much taste to it. Well this has been me since last Friday, except I haven't been able to spend my time in bed. I have a doctors appointment for this Friday if I can hold out that long.
