eTopps Brings the Shiny to T-206 Again

For the second straight year, eTopps is offering a T-206 tribute set. The checklist, although not yet announced, will mix cards from a century ago with more recent legends. The design mimics the style and size of the original T-206 set, but all are given a metallic shine used on all eTopps cards.Although the 2009 eTopps T-206 set was released only as a set, this time around they'll follow the more traditional eTopps approach of weekly individual card offerings. The first known set of hockey cards is known today by its catalog index C56. Put out by Imperial Tobacco in 1910, the set is celebrating its centennial anniversary. A couple days ago In the Game announced they're going to be honoring the set with their own modern spin on C56, announcing that the design will be the basis for the tenth edition of In the Game Ultimate Memorabilia. The pair of images they passed along are drool-inducing.The company also announced that they'll be inserting redemption
