The Big Orange Bridge

I found this bridge to be quite intriguing in Nelson. It was built in 1957, spanning the West Arm of Kootenay Lake at Nelson. The bridge replaced a cable ferry which had moved cars, trucks and people across the lake for many years.I love the lines and shadows it creates!

In the late evening, this awesome thunderhead developed right before our eyes as the sun sank and the night sky slowly started to engulf the sky.Small shards of lightning danced within the cloud that gave it an eerie luminescence glow.
