Foreign football fans who visited South Africa for the 2010 World Cup have given South Africa a convincing thumbs up for hosting the event. About 92% has said they would recommend South Africa to friends or family as a holiday destination. An overwhelming 96% of visitors said there is a possibility that they would return to South Africa.

One of the things the 2010 world cup final between The Netherlands and Spain will be remembered for, except of course for a Spanish victory and Nigel de Jong kicking Xabi Alonso in the chest , is how referee Howard Webb dished out a record number of 14 yellow cards.
