Signs of The Last Days

My name is Shaun, and I have always wanted to write a blog. However, there are so many blogs out there that repeat the same information. But I didn't want my blog to be the same as the thousands found on the Internet. I wanted mine to stand out, to be unique. So, I did what any person wanting to write a blog should do...I did a little recon. One topic that has always peaked my interest is the signs of the times that will precede the second coming of Jesus Christ. I did a search on blogs pertaining to the signs of the times, and I only found one. And thus...my blog, Signs of The Last Days, was born. My goal for this blog is to provide an in-depth analysis of the signs of the times that are occurring right before our eyes. I also want to provide a commentary on the current events that are presently unfolding, revealing these signs to the world. In addition, I encourage comments whether you agree with me or not to not only stimulate further discussion on the topic but to provide inspiration for future blogs. But before I go on...I must let my readership know my background. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (known as the Mormons to the rest of the world). Consequently, my opinions will come from an LDS perspective as well as conservative. The purpose of this blog is not to instill fear or paranoia about the signs of the times. Rather, it is to make people aware about the marvelous signs that are unfolding right in front of us. While it is true that many of the signs that have been prophesied are terrible, this should a time of great joy and thanksgiving. The Savior himself states: Wherefore, be faithful, praying always, having your lamps trimmed and burning, and oil with you, that you may be ready at the coming of the Bridegroom - For behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, that I come quickly. Even so. Amen (D&C 33:17) Again, please feel free to comment on any of my posts (even if you disagree with the weird Mormon...I even encourage it). Of course, I will monitor all of the comments.
