Via http://egyokeo.com/midihero/ Via Instructables My quest for Guitar Hero axe mods lead me to these videos. Though the first one is clearly not a guitar, it's still pretty badass. The DAMNED Masquerade Ball
Published on Thu, 05 Nov 2009 15:03:00 -0500
Michael and I attended the second night of DAMNED II, which was a formal attire masquerade ball held on on Devil's Night. This was the second year of the exhibit and I was proud to have some of my work selected and displayed. We took pictures but only a few came out, so until I find more posted by friends at the event, this is all I have to share. They are already planning next years event, so if you are a dark artist or have some controversial/macabre pieces to submit, mark your calendars a read more..

Two for Tuesday - Blue Moon of Kentucky
Published on Tue, 13 Oct 2009 12:20:00 -0400
I heard Elvis Presley's rendition of this song at the bookstore the other day and it immediately took me back to a time when, as a child, my parents used to take me to Bluegrass festivals. Kentucky native, Bill Monroe is the legendary Father of Bluegrass. You won't hear anything like this nowadays! Even Sir Paul fails to bring out the song's true essence, though I have to admit, I do prefer it over the LeAnn Rimes or Patsy Cline varieties. SO without further ado... read more..

Five for Fri - The Best 'Shopped McCain Memes
Published on Fri, 10 Jul 2009 09:40:00 -0400
So the story behind the funny face McCain made during the televised debate with Obama goes like this... McCain leaned in to shake hands with the moderator but couldn't reach across the table. So he started to follow Obama thinking that the moderator was heading that way, but when he went the other way instead, McCain made an exaggerated facial expression and the rest is Photoshop history! These are my top five favorites: And of course, I saved the best for last! Enjoy you read more..

Why Mass Transit fails in the United States, Part 1
Published on Mon, 15 Jun 2009 18:13:00 -0400
In an effort to be smart with money and also to be environmentally conscious (being a Unitarian Universalist is harder than being a xtian; I have to help take care of the earth rather than hoping for zombie jeebus to come back once we have despoiled it), I have been using mass transit to get back and forth to work since I moved to Cincinnati in March. The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky(TANK) website makes very nice use of Google maps and technology to simply plan trips around the greate read more..
Two for Tuesday - Two TED Talks

I just love TED, don't you? Here are two more of my favorite.
